World Class Content at India Association Congress 2019

In such a fast-moving world we are facing a lot of disturbances when it comes to association and organizations. To discuss those challenges, India Association Congress is back with its 7th edition under the theme “Interconnected World of Associations”. IAC is building a strong community of associations with their key decision-makers who come to IAC to learn and explore best practices by sharing knowledge and ideas for the betterment of their respective associations, which enhances the value of their members.

80% of the industry knowledge sharing happens through associations and IAC is the only umbrella platform for association leaders in India to grow professionally. The IAC will address the issues faced by trade protectionism policies adopted by few countries and will also provide an opportunity to learn from the best practices adopted by other associations, understand their strengths to form worldwide alliances and utilize its global connections to overcome the respective obstacles.

The 7th edition of India Association Congress will be held on 23-24 August 2019 at Hotel Le Meridien, Gurugram, Delhi NCR, which is organized by Indian Society of Associations Executives (ISAE). Around 300 key association stakeholders will attend the IAC.

Association leaders and executives should not miss an opportunity to attend this unique congregation as American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), the most renowned association organization and the voice of the association profession is going to provide free training to all attendees of IAC 2019 which will be highly benefiting to the delegates.

Also, the representatives from top 4 Chamber of Commerce from across the globe will be conducting a special session dedicated to “Collaboration Without Fear”. This session will give the leverage to the association delegates to set up their individual path of short- and long-term objectives, the Ambassador Forum conducted by 4 important countries’ ambassadors will provide the association leaders of India the insights enabling to understand the priorities, growth sectors, geographical focus, and expectations of various countries in developing their trade and commerce with India.

Lastly, attending the IAC will give you an opportunity to become a free member of ISAE and benefit from the association platform.

The congress will also, acknowledge and recognize the contribution of individual associations, their leaders and their executives through the most coveted and prestigious Association Excellence Awards 2019.

ITPO, Qatar Tourism Board, Singapore Tourism Board, India International Convention and Expo Centre and PCMA are official partners of IAC 2019.

The highlighted topics of the IAC conference is going to be the collaboration without fear as collaboration has always been a challenge, as the founding phase of any collaboration requires competitive strategy, honest desire, and motivation. Another topic that will be focused on is Beyond Membership Fees because according to a report, an association’s membership fees represent less than 30-40% of the total income. The other major income comes from non-dues revenues through training and certification, publications, sponsorship, monetizing data, events, fundraising and from several other sources. So, associations at this juncture should seriously focus on non-dues revenue more aggressively than relying on the membership-based revenue model. Communication between associations and government, Cross-culture concerns, cooperation in the global market and why data is essential for association innovation are going to be the topics for discussions.

Sanjay Kapoor – Organizing Secretary, said, “There is an increasing amount of political and economic instability across the world, and trade protectionism is a real threat. So, we have specially designed the program of the 7th edition of the IAC to address these challenges, along with many others. Our aim is to give association leaders the chance to strengthen worldwide alliances and shape the future. We want to make sure that our delegates leave us this year with the tools and contacts they need to face whatever the future holds.”

See you at IAC 2019.
