IEEE SENSORS 2018 Making Sense of Sensors

17th IEEE Conference on Sensors: “IEEE SENSORS 2018” – a global annual flagship conference will be held on 28-31 October 2018 at Pullman Aerocity, New Delhi. This international conference will take place in India for the first time.

The conference is intended to provide a forum for scientists and engineers, and practitioners throughout the world to present their latest research findings, ideas, and applications in the area of sensors and sensing technology. IEEE SENSORS 2018 will include keynote addresses and invited presentations by eminent researchers and industry professionals. The Conference solicits original state-of-the-art contributions as well as review papers.

The conference is expected to bring approximately 700 sensor and sensor systems practitioners together to interact and network with colleagues with an opportunity to learn the latest sensor technology innovations and meet the vendors of sensors and sensor systems that supply products and solutions to technical needs. The exhibition will be closely integrated with the technical program through workshops and tutorials, plenary sessions, industrial panels, sensor and sensor systems demonstrations, industrial innovation sessions, and social activities for delegates and exhibitors alike.

Sponsored by the IEEE, the world’s largest professional association for the advancement of technology, IEEE SENSORS 2018 combines a robust and comprehensive exhibits program, lectures on the latest sensors and sensor technology, sessions that allow the interaction with leaders in this field, and a social program that will allow for maximum engagement and networking opportunities.

The conference is scheduled with 3 plenary speeches (Dr. Nitish V. Thakor, Professor of Biomedical Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, USA; Dr. Ramgopal Rao, Professor and Director, IIT Delhi; and Prof. Margit Zacharias, University of Freiburg, Denmark), 4 tutorials, 25 invited talks, 300 oral presentations, 350 poster presentations, 2 focused sessions on emerging technologies, special tracks on Industry, Women in Sensors, Young Professionals in Sensors along with networking opportunities for all during this conference.
