FOGSI Academic Extravaganza United More than 10,000 Top Gynaecologists

CIMGlobal successfully managed FOGSI National Conference on Obstetrics & Gynaecologists Theme on Trics of Obstetrics & Logy of Gynecology (AICOG 2018) held during 17-21 January 2018 at the temple city Bhubaneswar.

Federation of Obstetrics & Gynaecological Societies of India has an enormous contribution to maternal & child health care in this country. This congress was attended by the faculty of National & International repute and the academic interaction on the recent advancement. It enriched the knowledge of the participants thus helping in improving the health care of the nation.

AICOG was organized under the aegis of AOGO. The Association of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Odisha (AOGO) was founded in 1965, under the stewardship of Late Prof. Jyostna Dei with the help of able associates like Prof. U.K. Nanda, Dr. Sukhalata Das and Late Dr. Ashalata Kar with the following aims which is to promote professional friendship amongst its members, to maintain efficient standards of teaching and practice of O&G and encourage research & to take up other activities as may be necessary to promote the welfare of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists as well as women of the state.

Around 10,000 gynaecologists attended this Conference from all parts of the country. This mega-conference has included one-day workshop & CME, three days dedicated scientific sessions and also the session on motivational speech with Sister BK Shivani & Dr. Manoj Das. Also, around 200 leading pharma companies have participated in this Congress to showcase their latest equipment & technology in the field of Obstetrics & Gynaecology. The inaugural ceremony was graced by the present chief minister of Odisha Shree Naveen Patnaik.

Apart from the day-long scientific activities, the event had many fellowships and a very strong Cultural Programme. Needless to mention that there were a special hunger lounge and delicate cuisine to satisfy everyone’s taste buds. Conference delegates eagerly explored the city of Bhubaneswar and the golden triangle of Puri and Konark. They admired its cultural heritage, scenic beauty and received the divine blessing of Lord Jagannath, the lord of the Universe.

AICOG 2018 successfully concluded with each attendee carrying home the knowledge and best practices shared during the five-day deliberation.
