The World Petroleum Council (WPC) is organizing the second WPC Leadership Conference on Responsibility, Cooperation and Sustainability, to be held in Mumbai, India from 18-20 February 2019.
Following the great success of the initial WPC Leadership Conference in Tromso, Norway in 2015, this event joins the triennial World Petroleum Congress and the WPC Youth Forum to form a series of major WPC global events designed to address key issues of the industry.
As a leading association of the petroleum industry, the WPC is creating a high level forum that will bring together all stakeholders in the sector to discuss their challenges and best practices. Implementing sustainable practices leads to good business and is integral to helping companies retain their social license to operate.
Given the complexity and challenges that the petroleum business will face in delivering energy for sustainable development of the world, responsible culture needs to be incorporated at all levels, from the small communities where petroleum companies operate and throughout the global business. Stable long term relationships and cooperation with all stakeholders enables petroleum industry to provide sustainable energy for all.
The venue of the conference is Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel, Mumbai which is the perfect ‘getaway’ for leisure and business traveller. Nestled on the banks of Powai lake and with the largest Executive lounge in Asia.
