The Association of Indian Forging Industry (AIFI) is hosting the 7th ASIAFORGE Meeting 2019 in India on 18 – 24 January 2019 in Chennai. This decision was taken at the 6th ASIAFORGE Meeting 2016 held in Japan. The venue for the conference is Four Points by Sheraton, Mahabalipuram Resort & Convention Center (formerly Confluence Banquets & Resort), situated in a picturesque milieu, enthusing formal networking.

Association of Indian Forging Industry (AIFI) has already had the opportunity to host International Forging Congress (IFC) in 1990 in New Delhi, ASIAFORGE 2008 in New Delhi and IFC 2011 in Hyderabad. Over 550 delegates from the Asian forging community participated in the ASIAFORGE whereas in the IFC 2011 there were more than 1000 delegates from across the globe.

Meanwhile, in India, AIFI successfully initiated and organized the first edition of Forgetech India in 2016 in Gurgaon, which witnessed a footfall of 600 participants.

ASIAFORGE Meeting 2019 India will be held concurrently with the second edition of Forgetech India.
