NextGen Genomics, Biology, Bioinformatics and Technologies (NGBT 2016) Conference was held from 3 – 5 October 2016 in Cochin, India. This conference was organized by SciGenom Research Foundation (SGRF), a not-for-profit organization which is working to promote Science Research & Education in Asia and India. This 6th edition was jointly hosted with Centre for the Commercialization of Antibodies and Biologics (CCAB), Toronto, Canada, Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR Biology Department), Mumbai, India, Institute of Bioinformatics (IOB), Bengaluru, India, and Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), Coimbatore, India and hosted by SGRF Conferences, the educational outreach arm of SciGenom Research Foundation (SGRF), along with national institutes in India.
CIMBlobal was entrusted to manage and provide end to end solution & services for the second consecutive year. CIMGlobal had managed NGBT 2015 which was held in Hyderabad. This prestigious conference witnessed 800 + delegation , intriguing session, industry booths, start up pavilion, idea exchange program for industrialist & entrepreneurs (hosted by Ernst & Young LLP), poster presentation over the 3 days. NGBT also encourages the concept of science meet art and provides non science platforms like art exhibition. Various artists displayed beautiful and conceptual paintings. The three day event had networking lunches, extravagant banquet function which had scrumptious cuisines, encouraging award session, enthralling traditional dance performances, etc. This conference was a grand success with regards to quality of papers, participation of delegates & industry and overall management of the conference starting from initial planning stage till completion of the event.
