The Asia-Pacific Incentives & Meetings Expo (AIME), which runs at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre 23-24 February, will kick off with a glittering Welcome Event at 400 City Road, in the city.
The welcome theme will showcase ‘One year in Melbourne in one night’.
Located within five minutes of the CBD, 400 City Road is a new warehouse location and the party guests will be among the first in the country to experience the space.
Karen Bolinger, Melbourne Convention Bureau (MCB) CEO, said: “It was vital that our One year in Melbourne in one night theme incorporated a unique location, as Melbourne is renowned for its diverse event spaces as well as being a city full of surprises.”
Tickets for the Welcome Event are A$150 and there is still a limited availability to purchase at www.aime.com.au.
AIME, which is owned by MCB, is the largest business events expo in Australia, and this year organisers expect to host more than 550 exhibitors and over 4,000 attendees responsible for organising meetings, incentives and business travel.
Organisers also expect 11,100 face-to-face meetings to take place over the two days of the show.
